Christ Lutheran Church

Christ Church is a vibrant and welcoming faith community located in the heart of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. With a history spanning over 130 years, the church blends deep-rooted Lutheran traditions with innovative, inclusive ministry. It offers a rich worship life that includes both traditional services with choir and pipe organ and a more casual contemporary service, meeting the diverse spiritual needs of its members.

Beyond worship, Christ Lutheran is deeply committed to serving the local community through a variety of ministries on our campus — from a faith-based preschool and daycare, a PlayGroup for parents and their toddlers, 285 units of housing for seniors, a shelter for homeless women and children, and programs that bring families and neighbors together. The church’s downtown location connects it to the cultural and civic life of Baltimore, making it a hub for justice, compassion, and spiritual growth.
