Christian City Fellowship

Sealy, Texas

The CCF Story Beginning with a small group of believers meeting in downtown Sealy, TX in 1976, Christian City Fellowship (formerly Sealy Assembly of God) has grown into a vibrant, multi-cultural body of worshipers from many surrounding counties. In November of 1991, Pastors Rusty and Anne Griffin (now Dr. Rusty Griffin) began serving as lead pastors, building upon the foundation laid by founding pastors Clyde and Joyce Drake. During their first 12 years, Pastors Rusty and Anne worked with leaders within the church to create a culture of discipleship, prayer, and worship.

In addition, strong relationships with apostolic and prophetic voices were built, which still serve as voices in the church today. In 2003, the church officially changed its name to Christian City Fellowship and began construction on a new, 40,000 square-foot facility. The new building opened in March 2004, which not only brought a tremendous momentum shift to the congregation but also forced the church to sharpen its focus as a place where God is Since that time, the church’s outreach efforts have transitioned from mostly on-campus events to neighborhood, home-based gatherings, as well as community outreaches and events.

Christian City Fellowship continues to reach not only the city of Sealy but the entire region with the Gospel of Jesus. We truly are a place where the hungry and thirsty can settle and reap a harvest. We are thankful for what God has done in our past and more excited about what He will do in the decades to come.

CCF Vision & Values

Christian City Fellowship believes that God is building His church by building big people. This is exactly what we do! We are an authentic, God-centered community whose purpose is to build big people into their full potential in Christ in order to leave a legacy of faith to the next generation.

1. WE

God-centered: God is The Source and center of all things. Romans 11:36

Authentic Community: Diverse, multi-generational, maturing believers living life connected to The Source and to each other.

2. BUILD

Discipleship: Learning that becomes a lifestyle — building our lives in Christ.

3. BIG

Christ as Life: Christ is our Life and in Him we can do all things.

4. PEOPLE

Rescue: Reaching our communities and culture with hope and life.

Legacy: When one generation values, empowers, and invests in the next generation.
