Who We Are:
We are an established and growing church in Central Florida. Our annual average Sunday attendance is around 275 people. Our Mission is to Love God, Love others and Impact the World. We are a gospel-centered, Bible teaching church with a heart for our city and world missions. To further this mission, we are seeking a passionate pastor to lead and reach our students. Currently, our student ministry attendance averages 25 students (middle and High school) for Sunday mornings and 50 students on a Wednesday night.
Job Description:
The candidate’s primary focus will be to teach, lead and disciple the middle and high school ministry of Grace Bible Baptist Church. They will also oversee and coordinate with all student ministry from birth to college. This includes being a liaison to the Awana ministry, as well as coordinating Junior Church and children's ministry workers. The candidate will be responsible for Bible fellowship classes as well as curriculum decisions and development. We expect the successful candidate to be able to build and mentor a team of volunteers to fulfill the mission of the ministry. He will also be responsible for mentoring and growing the student leadership team who serve and have responsibilities within the youth ministry. On occasion, you will have the opportunity to preach on a Sunday morning or evening. The Student Ministry Pastor must be committed to holistic family ministry, seeing parents as the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives and the church leadership as support. Evidence a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Above all else, this person will be a Spirit-led follower of Jesus with a passion for students and a clear ministry calling. We desire a Student Pastor who is married, whose wife will be supportive of the ministry and will provide leadership and care to the teen girls.

Specific Responsibilities:
· Function as a pastor for students and their families
· Teaching and Preaching in worship service on occasion
· Lead Youth Bible Fellowships and coordinate with all Bible Fellowship Teachers.
· Lead and organize effective youth programs implementing fellowship, worship, teaching, discipleship and evangelism
· Recruit, train and shepherd volunteers with diverse gifts and personalities
· Plan, organize and lead the Summer VBS
· Oversee the planning of student retreats (camps,d-now,etc..) and missions trips
· Communicate regularly with parents and students through a variety of means
· Establish yearly goals and calendar for student ministry
· Ensure expenditures remain within set budgets and assist in developing the budget
· Coordinate training and educational opportunities for volunteers when needed
· Oversee and schedule teachers for children’s ministries (jr. church and kids clubs)
· Plan and coordinate fundraisers (currently 2 rummage sales a year, but can change)
· Coordinate with our G.E.T. (Grace Evangelistic Team) ministry.
· Pray for the families and ministries of GBBC
· Plan and communicate church-wide events
· Provide spiritual direction and biblical counseling to students and parents on an individual basis as needed.
· Be proficient with social media and help promote / advertise / connect via those platforms.
· All staff members will be asked at times to help with special events, projects or situations as they arise. (revivals, community events, church projects)
General Responsibilities:
· Maintain a healthy relationship with God
· Have a healthy balance of personal/family life with ministry
· Participate in regular staff meetings and planning days
· Establish reasonable office hours
· Keep the pastor up to date on happenings within the ministry
· Be present and involved during worship services
· Be a team player and supportive of other ministries. We believe in cooperation, not competition.
· At times responsibilities can fall outside the stated “job description.”
· Contribute to strategic goal process and long range vision
· Provide pastor care
