Connections Church is seeking a Director/Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship who is passionate about helping students and adults meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and find meaningful community at Connections. If you love outreach, discipleship, and building pathways that move people from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples, we will enjoy hearing from you.

Role Summary

The Director/Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship will provide leadership for outreach, discipleship, assimilation, and Life Groups, ensuring that people are warmly welcomed and intentionally guided into spiritual growth, relationships, and active participation in the mission of Connections Church.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate church-wide outreach initiatives, including Connecting Every Student events in the community and at local schools
• Lead and develop church-wide outreach and community engagement initiatives
• Design and implement discipleship and assimilation pathways for youth and adults
• Provide vision and leadership for Life Groups, including leader recruitment and development
• Equip and care for volunteer leaders through coaching, training, and encouragement
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and staff team
• Manage ministry organization, systems, and related budgets

Qualifications

• Agreement with the vision, values, and Statement of Faith of Connections Church
• Vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus
• Passion for evangelism, discipleship, and relational ministry
• Experience leading successful outreach, small groups, and discipleship ministries
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High integrity, emotional maturity, and servant-hearted leadership
• Biblical studies or seminary training preferred

Expectations

• Regular participation in worship services and active involvement in church life
• Primarily on-site presence to support collaboration and relationships
