Associate Pastor for Youth & Families

Harvest Community Church currently has an opportunity for the right leader to join our team and help us accomplish our vision of helping people find and follow Jesus.

We’re looking for someone who shares our vision and values, who is excited about discipling students their families, and who is energized by working with a team to help build the wider ministry of the church.

As one of three full-time pastors at Harvest, the Associate Pastor for Youth Families will help lead the church, care for its members, and equip the saints for ministry, with particular focus on developing our ministry to Jr. Sr. High students and their families.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Develop and oversee our ministry to Jr. High and High school students

• Share in ministry leadership (preaching, weddings funerals, member care, etc.) with the rest of the Ministry Staff team

• Provide oversight to one additional area of ministry based on gifting and interest

Compensation: $50k - $65k salary, plus generous benefits including medical dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Harvest is a 35-year-old congregation in Hillsboro Oregon (Portland metro area), with an average weekly attendance of 250+ in person and online. We're Bible-based, Gospel-centered, and focused on helping people find and follow Jesus in community.

The singular focus that drives everything we do is Jesus' command to make disciples of all peoples (Matthew 28:19). We see the programs and activities of our church as means to that end; they’re steps to help people find and follow Jesus, not the main thing itself.
