WCC is a church community in Williamsport, Indiana. We meet on Sunday to reflect further and more deeply upon our relationship with God the Father in the way we live our daily lives – in the way we speak and work and act and love. Each Sunday we sing songs that give thanks to God, we remember our rescue and redemption through the Lord’s Supper, we offer gifts to God, and we find direction through the preaching of His Word.
However, Sunday is just one day in a weekly journey we all take. To help us along in that weekly journey, we carve out time in our busy schedules to regularly meet with others in smaller gatherings. In these sacred times, you’ll find us eating, reflecting, laughing, crying, challenging, praying, living life together. And, hopefully, you’ll also find us going out together for purposes of reaching out together.
We believe the church community is a band of brothers and sisters set loose to help bring about God’s desire for redemption. On any given week, at any given time, this means it’s quite possible you’ll find one of us, a couple of us, many of us, speaking with folks about our relationship with God the Father offered us all through God the Son, Jesus, or showing someone how God has transformed us in such a way that we seek to partner with him in transforming the world around us to better match the kingdom he desires. To that end you might catch us feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the imprisoned, painting a house, or tutoring kids. In short, you will catch us doing our best to be available to God to best reflect the nature and character and love of Jesus.
