A well-established Christian Evangelist / Author (Mr. A) with over 25 years of global ministry experience is looking to book additional Christian events for 2022 and also 2023. We are currently looking for an individual to solicit and set up additional opportunities for him to speak and minister throughout the US, Canada and Globally. Compensation is commission based and the hired person would be responsible for their own taxes, insurance etc. Average booking could bring individuals between $500 and $2500 per event scheduled. Individual selected would be required to familiarize themselves with (Mr. A’s) books, videos, and background as they will be an extension of the ministry and the initial contact many will have to (Mr. A.)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generating preaching/speaking opportunities for (Mr. A) including various markets and venues such as Churches, Christian Schools, Christian Colleges, Conferences, Christian Businesses, Men Meetings, Christian Outdoor Organizations, Christian Events, Crusades, Outreaches or various other ministry or evangelistic events
- Creating relationships with new ministries, pastors, ministry event planners, outreach coordinators, Youth Pastors, media and marketing sources, Christian Business Owners, speaker bureaus, promoters, and venues.
-Biblically solid individual who values the importance of evangelism and advancing the Kingdom of Jesus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relatable field or equivalent experience
- Must be a self-starter with previous sales or booking experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proposal writing experience preferred
- Preexisting relationships with churches, ministries and Christian faith based organizations.
- Previous experience at a talent agency, event planning company or speaker bureau a big plus
- Strong people skills, must possess a robust ''likeability'' quality
- Able to handle a wide scope of projects and possess the ability to prioritize
- Previous experience booking and/or managing artists a plus
- Knowledge of or experience in the church, evangelism, or Christian Conference industries.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Social Media (Photoshop or other design software capabilities a major plus!)
- Must be willing and able to Zoom call and provide progress reports weekly. (This is a remote position).
Salary: Salary is 100 Commission based and works off a principle of 10% of gross revenue raised at each event booked. For Example, in 2021 the average funds collected per speaking engagement was $8000.00. Based on that figure the individual who booked a single average ($8000.00 event) would receive a commission payment of $800.00 for booking that single event. A $2500 event would equal a $250 payment, as a $25000 event would produce $2500 for the Booking Agent.
