Worship Leader

St. John's United Methodist Church a medium sized congregation in a fertile mission field. We are seeking a Worship Leader for a growing music ministry in Corpus Christi, Texas. The ideal person will develop and lead the worship music ministry in consultation with the Pastor and worship team members. We seek a person that is capable of leading worship that is consistent with our mission, values and theology.

This is a part-time position, approximately 6-8 hours per week. Compensation is listed and based on experience.

Skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrated skills as a musician

• Professional quality guitarist or keyboard player

• Vocalist

• Knowledge and appreciation for various worship forms with an emphasis and focus on contemporary styles.

• Enthusiasm to lead and draw people into worship.
