Associate Pastor of Students

First Baptist Church invites applications for the position of Associate Pastor of Students. This full-time position is ideal for a dynamic leader with a heart and passion for guiding students in their faith journey.

This position is key in helping our church serve the purpose of God in our generation by loving God, loving people, and reaching the world. The Associate Pastor of Students will oversee and grow the student ministry (elementary, middle, high school, and college). This position requires a deep love for God and people, a passion for discipleship, and a desire to lead the next generation to know and love Jesus. Candidates will build strong relationships with students and families and develop engaging programs for spiritual growth. Candidates must meet the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9, affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and be aligned with the mission and vision of First Baptist Church of Iva.

A Masters degree is not required, but the pursuit of one is recommended. A complete position description is available upon request.
