Student Director

Echo.Church is one church in multiple locations, with campuses all over the San Francisco Bay Area and online. We believe students are not just the future of the church – they are the church, and we want to create engaging environments where they can experience God’s love, take steps in their faith, and use their lives to bring God’s love and truth to those around them.

We are currently looking for a Student Director who is passionate about pouring into the next generation of students. 

This role is for you if you are: 

• Passionate about evangelism and investing into middle and high schoolers
• An experienced, dynamic leader (from either a corporate or church environment)
• A motivating team-builder
• A visionary inspirer, whether sitting with 20 people or standing in front of 2,000
• Able to deliver relevant, Biblical messages when called upon
• Not intimidated by the idea of leading campus staff and volunteers
• Teachable, humble, and hungry to learn and grow
• Hard-working, but serious about having fun!
• A proactive self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker, but also collaborative team player

You will be: 

• Collaborating with leadership to set the direction, vision, goals, and initiatives of the Student Ministry, as a key part of the overall ministry of Echo.Church
• Creating and implementing strategies to see the Student Ministry grow and thrive
• Teaching and leading in small, medium, and large group settings
• Inspiring and mobilizing the next generation to reach their friends for Jesus
• Leading, developing, equipping, and consistently caring for leaders and volunteers
• Responsible for preaching weekly
• A champion for Student Ministry, setting standards that other campuses will follow
• Performing other pastoral care responsibilities: coaching/mentoring, weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications, etc.
