Job Description

Lee’s Summit Community Church (LSCC) in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is looking for a Student Pastor to join their team. The Student Pastor will be an integral part of the Family Ministry Team and work closely with the LSCC Discipleship/Family Pastor in helping make their vision come alive in the lives of students (grades 6-12), parents, and families at LSCC. This person will also cast vision, inspire, and equip parents in leading their students to take steps in championing their spiritual formation.


What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with and calling parents to discover and live within their unique family rhythm

• Partnering effectively with the LSCC Kid’s Pastor and parents to provide healthy transitions at critical milestones in the lives of students and their families

• Calling students to practices and disciplines that will help them take steps to know and become like Jesus

• Overseeing care for students and volunteers at LSCC Students


What skills you need to have:

• A Christ-follower who demonstrates the character qualifications of 1st Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1

• Self-motivated • Teachable spirit

• Honest and trustworthy

• Worshipper

• Fun
