Provide Pastoral Ministry with the Student Ministry team (Students, parents of students, leaders, and the Student Minister) and coordinate the training of others to do likewise.
Preach in a rotation with the student pastor.
Assist in coordinating weekly student gatherings.
Assist with student leadership in providing opportunities for members of the student ministry team to be directly involved in missions and ministry – both locally and outside the community.
Coordinate training and mentoring of students sensing a call to ministry vocation.
Coordinate the enlisting, discipling, training and motivating of adults to serve in student ministry.
Share the gospel with lost students and lost parents on an ongoing basis, both individually and cooperatively.
Assist in creating and implementing an overall student evangelism strategy for the church.
Coordinate and implement promotional material through social media and contacting the students to engage them in the ministry.
Network with other evangelical student leaders in the community to support students in strengthening their bonds as “THE CHURCH”.
Work together with other staff members and church members to support all functions of the church.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Personal conversion experience with Christ and a call to ministry
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and ages
Willingness to grow and develop personally and spiritually
