Worship Leader

LifePoint Church is an 18-month-old missional church that seeks to reach the community through God-Centered Worship and Gospel-Centered Ministry. We strive to be a “go and tell” rather than a “come and see” church; therefore, Sunday is the Lord’s Day. Our worship service is designed with God in mind rather than seekers. We believe that when Christ is exalted in the worship, people will genuinely find Whom they seek.

One of our goals is to change church culture by demonstrating a non-competitive spirit towards sister churches, actively ministering within our community, giving 50% of contributions towards missions, and expecting members and attendees to serve. LifePoint takes the Gospel out to the community through teams that meet for worship at a sober-living facility, a restaurant, a woman’s shelter, and multiple senior-living facilities weekly.

LifePoint seeks a worship leader with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, believes in the power of the Gospel and aims to share Christ through their gifts and personal testimony.

1. A candidate will be selected based on the following:

· Call/Passion – feel a definite call or passion for leading worship.

· Personal Spiritual Discipline – the candidate should be devoted to spiritual growth.

· Evangelistic belief and fervor – the candidate must believe in the power of the Gospel and that all who put their faith in Jesus will be saved.

· Ability – the candidate must be able to lead worship, not just possess musical talent.

· Involvement – the candidate must desire to be involved in the church and community life.

· Personal relationships – the candidate must be outgoing and able to build relationships and teams.

· The candidate must fully embrace the beliefs and philosophy of ministry of LifePoint Church. We have a team approach, and members of the team find unity through shared beliefs.
