Bi-vocational pastor to lead our American Baptist Church in weekly worship service, conduct visitations and perform other pastoral duties as needed.
We are a small American Baptist Church with about 69 members with an active group of about 20. We are very mission oriented supporting the ABC Missions as well as local mission programs. Before COVID we had a large number of young people but have lost them all post-covid. We hope to find the right person to help us grow our congregation and Sunday School again, as well as provide pastoral care, administrative support and a commitment to missions. Our congregation, as well as the town population, is predominantly Caucasian. Our church building is over 150 years old, kept in good repair, and sits in the village of Bellows Falls in the Town of Rockingham, Vt., a town of about 5,000. We are located in the southeastern corner of Vermont.
We are able to offer a generous part-time salary based on experience and hours worked.
