Worship Team Musician/ Vocalist

Introduction: Harvest Rock Church in Long Beach California (no affiliation to Harvest Rock Pasadena) has been an online church for the last 3 years. We finally have a place and are looking for musicians and a worship team who love the Lord and are interested in growing our new campus.

We believe there is one God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Paid - $150.00 weekly (practice and Sunday service)

Service time 12PM on Sundays

Job Summary:

As a Worship Team Musician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our worship services and helping our congregation ushering in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit through music. You will collaborate with our worship leader and team to create a spiritually uplifting and musically excellent worship experience.

Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities of the musician and or vocalist include:

• Leading or participating in Tuesday night rehearsals for worship services.
• Selecting and performing appropriate music for each service.
• Playing a musical instrument (e.g., guitar, keyboard, violin) or singing.
• Collaborating with the worship leader and other team members to create a cohesive and engaging worship experience.
• Mentoring and supporting other musicians and volunteers.
• Assisting in the organization and planning of special events or concerts.

Qualifications: Qualifications and skills required for the position may include:

• Experience in a worship or church setting is preferred. We will also consider someone who does not have experience but is able.
• Proficiency in playing a musical instrument and/or vocal skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• A deep understanding of the role of music in worship.
• Commitment to the mission and values of our church and worship team.
