Purpose: To provide key leadership for our Student and Kids Ministries.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Ministry
- Oversee the Student Ministry (6th-12th Grade)
- Develop and lead a weekly student program for the Students.
- Plan, promote and lead students on a yearly camp.
- Work with student ministry leadership teams and volunteers towards gathering students to a saving relationship with Christ and growing them as a disciple to make disciples.
- Plan and lead student activities.
- Connect with students on a regular basis in their environments examples: homes, school, and/or sporting events.
- Develop and maintain relationships in our local school districts.
Kid's Ministry
- Oversee Kid's Ministry (Babies- 5th Grade).
- Provide key leadership to volunteers and teams.
- Evaluate our current Kid's Ministry providing leadership for needed changes.
- Provide training and counseling to families in our church.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Outreach program at FBC.
- Develop and train adult workers to minister to the Students and Kid's.
- Attend staff meetings and Elder meetings (as necessary)
- Spend at least one week a year on missions outside of Madison County.
- Maintain a vital and wholesome personal relationship with the Lord through daily Bible study and prayer.
- Maintain proper priorities at home with your family providing appropriate personal time for physical, mental, and spiritual health.
- Love our FBC Family in word and deed and support the pastor.
- Other duties as assigned by the pastor.
