Job Description

To manage the office operations of Annapolis Lutheran church in conjunction with the pastor and other staff. 


Responsibilities:

1.    Serve as a receptionist by answering calls and welcoming and assisting guests.

2.    Update and maintain Annapolis Lutheran’s prayer list.

3.    Create, edit and print the Annapolis Lutheran’s weekly worship bulletin and any other worship bulletins to include funerals, mid-week services, etc.

4.    Meet with the pastor weekly and as needed to discuss office and church functions.

5.    Draft and send out weekly “Information line.”

6.    Order supplies as directed by pastor or committee chairs.

7.    Communicate as needed with Annapolis Lutheran’s IT vendor.

8.    Manage key chart and distribution of keys.

9.    Maintain and update calendar in conjunction with other staff.

10.Coordinate scheduling of the facility

11.Maintain church records

12.Update website

13.Forward check requests, invoices and other financial information to financial secretary.

14.Maintain and update as needed all church subscriptions and accounts including Call-em-all, Sundays and season, Sola, etc.

15.Coordinate with cleaning crew for ordering supplies

16.Facilitate contracts and facility use agreements.

17. Maintain and update the Annapolis Lutheran website.

18. Operate the digital sign at the direction of the pastor and publicity committee.

19.Compile and publish quarterly newsletter

20.Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
