Student Ministries Assistant Pastor/ Director

We are seeking a Full Time Assistant Pastor/Director to lead, plan and execute all aspects of student ministries serving over 130 students in grades 6-12. This individual shepherds the spiritual formation of middle and high school students within our church and in the surrounding community through engaging and transforming discipleship initiatives.
What you will do:
· Invest in the discipleship of Middle and High School students through prayer, relevant and in-depth Biblical teaching, engagement, and leadership development.
· Create opportunities for impactful spiritual growth and ultimate discipleship that support students to develop and nurture their individual faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
· Cast a spirit of hope and joy that contributes to a flourishing church dedicated to its mission to grow disciples.
· Build relationships with and provide pastoral care to students and their families.
· Enhance the intergenerational dynamic with the congregation by creating ways for students to engage in congregational life.
· Manage all student ministry-related communication including newsletters, emails, website content and social media ensuring ministry stakeholders are routinely updated.
· Engage and recruit an active pipeline of trained volunteers who can faithfully serve and support our ongoing activities and student outreach programs.
· Create, manage and oversee budget alongside Lead Pastor, Elders and Finance Team.
What you need to have:
· Passion for and calling to disciple students and partner with families.
· Maturity as a Christian and professional.
· Significant Biblical teaching experience including Reformed theology and alignment with the ECO Essential Tenets.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills with counseling and outreach experience.
· The ability to be a self starter with a conscientious work ethic.
· A collaborative spirit and a proven team builder and partner with others.
· Demonstrated abilities in administration including computer skills, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, organization, and oversight to manage programs, events, and trips etc. integral to
Student Ministries.
· Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience serving in student ministry in a church/ministry setting or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Position may be an Assistant Pastor or Director depending on Education/Ordination.

· This full-time position reports to the Lead Transitional Pastor/Head of Staff with a competitive salary based on the applicant’s education, skills and experience.

· Additional benefits are available for ECO-ordained candidates including Assistant Pastor title.
· Candidates not ordained within ECO would be designated as a Director.
· A part-time Student Ministry Assistant is a direct report to this position.
