in beautiful Port Angeles, Washington, is looking for a NextGen Pastor who is passionate about discipling students

and children—and partnering with parents to help them grow in faith.

IBC is a multigenerational church of ~400 people with a simple mission: to make disciples who make disciples.

While being elder-led, we believe in and submit to the absolute headship of Christ and the Bible, His authoritative

Word. We’ve been a Gospel presence in Port Angeles for over a century, and we love seeing people of all ages

delight in God and serve our community.

About the Role

The NextGen Pastor will lead our youth ministry (grades 6–12) and provide oversight for our children’s ministry

(birth–5th grade and for our young adult program (18-25). You’ll join a strong pastoral team that values

collaboration, spiritual health, and authenticity in ministry.

What You’ll Do

• Teach and lead weekly youth gatherings (about 55–60 students weekly).

• Plan retreats, camps, and mission trips (including our annual Lead the Cause week).

• Equip and care for volunteers and parents.

• Provide guidance and leadership for our children’s ministry leaders.

• Participate in broader pastoral ministry, including occasional preaching and team leadership.

You love Jesus deeply and want students to do the same. You’re humble, teachable, and self-motivated. You’re

relational, able to connect with kids and parents alike, and you see ministry as a partnership between church and

home.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (ministry or related field preferred).

• Experience in youth or children’s ministry helpful—but a teachable, pastoral heart is essential.

Compensation

$50K – $68K plus benefits
