About Western Springs CRC

Western Springs Christian Reformed Church is a resolute, generous, hospitable, and devoted congregation that values the preaching of God’s Word, its Reformed faith, service to and fellowship with one another, and traditional worship graced by excellent music. The congregation has just concluded a blessed fifteen-year season of ministry with Rev. Mark van Stee. It also benefits from the excellent service of Timothy Christian Schools (Elmhurst, IL).

The congregation recognizes that we face several challenges while at the same time are experiencing bountiful blessings. While the membership is getting older and smaller, our financial

contributions remain more than sufficient. While our campus is located in Western Springs, we are willing to travel distances to gather together for worship and other activities. While the congregation is multigenerational, and has more retirees than children, we see all age groups represented weekly. Finally, while we hold hope for the future, we are uncertain what the future will look like.
