Buffat Heights Baptist is seeking a full-time Pastor of Students and Discipleship. We are a medium sized church in Knoxville, TN. Our worship is generally contemporary, our congregation is multi-generational. The position involves all responsibilities related to student leadership including growing and developing the student ministry team and creating and implementing a strategy for evangelism and discipleship for students 6th grade- 12th grade. The student pastor is expected to teach, lead and develop students through small group Bible studies, worship, camps, retreats and any other means of building students spiritually.
Other responsibilities include the discipleship strategy for adults in the church. This includes, but is not limited to, Sunday School and discipleship classes. Development and accountability of teachers and leaders is a must.
All staff members handle other areas of responsibility outside of their primary roles, those to be determined based on the candidate’s talents, abilities and experience as well as the needs of the church.

Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree and some kind of consistent church volunteer or leadership experience. Compensation range is $50,000+ annually. Other benefits may apply.
We are a medium sized church in Knoxville, TN. We are multi-generational and contemporary in worship. We love our young families and as of August of 2022, we had more than 100 ages birth-21 participating in church activities. We are active in missions locally and internationally.
