South Point Student Ministry is committed to reaching the next generation and their families for Christ. Our goal is to equip students to know, love, and serve Jesus! We minister to 40-50 students in our Sunday School, Gathering and Connect Groups throughout the week. We serve families of all backgrounds and needs through events such as student camps, discipleship weekends and retreats. We are excited to bring on a new Student Pastor who is ready to lead a network of remarkable teams, and pastor students and their families into an ongoing growing relationship with Jesus Christ at South Point Baptist Church.
The next Student Pastor will provide vision, leadership and direction to our student ministry(6-12th grade). He will be stepping into a key role of ministry with a team of leaders devoted to building bridges between church and home. He The successful candidate will have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, a pastor's heart, conservative, biblical theology, and a great passion to see students come to know Jesus Christ and follow Him as disciples. We are searching for someone gifted in communicating biblical principles, skilled in leading students and volunteers, and called to shepherd both students and their families. He should be passionate about reaching out to our community and have a heart for the nations. He will be an integral part of a staff team committed to Jesus Christ's mission of making disciples who make disciples. Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and seminary training is preferred.
