Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

The person will work with other staff under the direction of the Senior Pastor, the Staff Parish Relations Committee and the Youth Leadership Team to develop overall youth and young adult educational programs and ministries for Tifton First Methodist Church.

We are an independent Methodist Church located in Tifton, GA. Tifton is located on I-75 north of Valdosta and south of Macon. The population of Tifton is approximately 17,000 with an additional 23,000 living in the surrounding county. The church has over 1,100 members and has two traditional and one contemporary service each week, in addition to a midweek communion service. We are blessed with great facilities and a faithful congregation. We have a heart for missions, and our youth hosted a "River of Life" mission opportunity the past two years, where other youth groups came to Tifton to help with home repairs to people who couldn't afford to make the repairs themselves.

Tifton First has always sought to work in cooperation with other churches in our community, and is seen by many as a community church. Our staff and members are very involved in the community.
