Part-Time Worship Leader
Location: Sowebo Community Church, Southwest Baltimore
$350 per week. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Sowebo Community Church is an independent, neighborhood-based, family-focused church serving the culturally rich and diverse communities of Southwest Baltimore. Our mission is to be a multiethnic, multicultural body of believers living out the love of Christ through worship, fellowship, cultural reconciliation, community development, and discipleship. We are located in a majority African American community with a growing Hispanic demographic, and we value authentic worship that reflects the diversity of our neighborhood.
Position Overview:
We seek a passionate, musically gifted, and spiritually grounded Part-Time Worship Leader to support our current worship leader in guiding our congregation in meaningful worship experiences that reflect our vision of being a multiethnic and multicultural church. This role involves leading worship, supporting the development of a small choir, helping with children’s special events, and participating in practices and services—the ability to play gospel and CCM music. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to help bridge our diverse congregation.

Hours and Compensation:
This part-time position requires approximately 10–15 hours per week, including preparation, practice, and Sunday worship.
