First Methodist Church Johnson City is seeking a dedicated Senior Pastor to lead the congregation in spiritual growth and service.
As the spiritual shepherd of the church family, the Senior Pastor will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing environment where individuals can deepen their faith, cultivate meaningful relationships, and contribute to the growth of the community.
The Senior Pastor will be responsible for the overall vision and implementation of ministry thus creating disciples who love and follow Christ.

Senior Pastor will report to the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. The SPRC will provide an annual evaluation of the Pastor's performance and meet with representatives of the Committee throughout the year as needed. The Senior Pastor will operate with considerable independence within areas of responsibility described below.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of pastoral experience and be an Ordained Minister. Candidate must be willing to adhere to the principles of the Wesleyan Tradition with a demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the principles of the teaching from the Holy Bible.
Physical Requirements:
Mobility: Ability to move around the church facilities, including navigating stairs and assisting with various activities.
