Production Director

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and Manage Production Ministry:

Lead, manage, and grow the production ministry at Awaken

Church. Oversee weekly production tasks and ensure all

elements of church gatherings run smoothly. Plan and

implement departmental goals to support overall ministry

growth.

Management of Worship and Production Content:

Ensure all technical elements of worship services are prepared

and organized, including software updates, presentations, and

programming for audio, video, and lighting. Collaborate with

staff to ensure readiness for rehearsals, weekend services,

and broadcasts to satelitte campuses and online audiences.

Equipment Management:

Manage and maintain all audio and visual equipment needed

at the CHS campus. Maintain updates to equipment, software

and subscriptions needed, along with forecasting of new and

innovative equipment additions.

Team Recruitment and Onboarding:

Lead the recruitment process for production, responding to

inquiries, and executing onboarding procedures. This includes

growing the team by making connections with potential

volunteers.

Additional Content Management:

Manage or assist in other forms of content management

needed for the church to succeed. This includes, but not

limited to tracks (Ableton/Ableset), Propresenter, Planning

Center, Youtube, Resi Online, and any other needed

programming.

Team Development:

Provide personalized care for team members and

participate in team nights, leader events, and other

relevant events to build culture and cast vision. Train team

members to improve their techical abilities and in their

volunteer and/or part-time roles. Lead team members to be

involved in the vision and mission of the church along with

ongoing growth in production ministry.

Worship Pastor Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Worship Pastor to set up the church

and campus for success.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Understand that "ongoing change" is part of Awaken

Church and be willing to move and grow with that vision.

SKILL, ABILITY KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in PCO, Propresenter, Lighting softwares and

programming, streaming platforms, and audio.

• Proficient understanding of digital mixing consoles,

sound systems, and AV setups. Familiar with DAWs,

Logic and other Pro Tools.

• 3 years minimum vocational ministry experience in

production or related ministry.

• Comfortable with adapting to new technologies and

software.

• Ability to work under pressure and in live events/

services.

Awaken Church exists so that people far from God will be awakened to life in Christ. We are one church in two locations. Our Charleston Campus, which is our broadcast location, is located in the North Charleston/West Ashley area. Our Summerville Campus is portable and meets weekly in the Cane Bay area.
