Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate Pastor who brings both spiritual depth and a heart for relational ministry. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a thoughtful teacher, and a collaborative partner in ministry. Working closely with our Lead Pastor and Congregation Council, the Associate Pastor will engage fully in all areas of pastoral life—preaching, presiding, pastoral care, and program leadership.
This full-time role offers a meaningful opportunity to grow in experience and leadership within a large, urban congregation committed to shaping the future of the church in the city.
Primary Responsibilities: The Associate Pastor’s primary focus will be on ministry with youth, young adults, and young families. This includes creating and leading programs that nurture faith, build connection, and encourage active participation in the life of the church.
The Associate Pastor will also lead initiatives to reach and engage younger adults and families beyond our walls, helping them discover Christ Church as a spiritual home in the heart of Baltimore.
