Expected Outcomes

The Pastor of Family, Youth, and Children will be evaluated based on the following key outcomes that align with MVCBC’s mission and the priorities outlined in this role:

  1. Thriving Discipleship Pathway
  2. A clearly defined and effectively implemented discipleship strategy is in place from nursery through college age, demonstrating biblical depth and age-appropriate engagement at each stage.
  3. Engaged and Growing Families
  4. Families feel supported, equipped, and actively engaged in the spiritual development of their children, as reflected in increased participation, relational connection, and spiritual growth in the home.
  5. Healthy Volunteer Culture
  6. A strong, trained, and spiritually healthy team of volunteers serves joyfully and reliably in children’s and youth ministries. Turnover is low, and volunteers feel valued and equipped.
  7. Cross-Cultural and Multi-Educational Inclusion
  8. Ministry reflects intentional inclusion of families from diverse educational paths and cultural backgrounds, with a growing sense of unity and shared purpose across the body.
