We desire a strong leader with vision who can get excited about our ideas but keep us grounded, helping us focus our resources and accomplish our goals.
We seek a shepherd who will teach, feed, guide, and work with the Session & the staff to bring about good working relationships and effective programs.
Our pastor should be open to working with the Session to add additional staff to support our growing ministries.
We are a very friendly, welcoming, and supportive congregation that cares deeply for each other. We have one worship service on Sunday morning followed by a fellowship time. The mass majority of attendees stay for food and conversation for up to an hour every week. It’s a fun place to be!
Music is a very important part of our worship; over 20 talented singers and musicians participate weekly. We are a singing church; everyone sings!
Christian education is a top priority; our hired youth director leads a vibrant weekly program attracting over 15 youth on Wednesdays and 8-10 younger youth on Sundays. These young families led to three baptisms last year.
We embrace change that comes with new ideas. A recent youth-administered Palm Sunday worship was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. A series of prayer stations were designed by our youth that allowed everyone to visit each station to pray and learn more about prayer. Everyone enjoyed the unusual worship experience.
With worship at our core, we strive to nurture everyone who attends.
