The part-time chaplain serves 40-50 hours per month as the Christian pastor and also as the coordinator for all religious services and programs for inmates of all faiths at Baskerville Correctional Center, a medium-minimum security prison located at 4150 Hayes Mill Rd., Baskerville, VA 23915. Baskerville Correctional Center holds a population of 487 male felons classified in medium/minimum-security status. Most of the housing is dormitory-style, as the facility began operations as a correctional field unit or “road camp” before its reconstruction.
