Resident Life Coordinator

Are you ready to put your faith into daily action? To live missionally among your neighbors as you seek to share the Good News? Resident Life Ministries offers a fantastic way to do that as Coordinators serve residents in apartment communities (most near major universities) through the hosting of fun weekly community events, relationship-building, and studying the Bible with spiritual seekers in small group settings. It's an amazing ministry "job" that offers free rent and utilities at the apartment where the Coordinator lives and serves--in return for 10-15 hours of work weekly.

Great candidates for this role are committed followers of Christ who love people and lean into spiritual conversations with non-believers or pre-Christians. This is the Main Thing: helping to introduce people to Jesus! Strong candidates enjoy hospitality and serving--and they can throw a great party! They should have experience in leading a Bible study (preferably investigative in approach) and should be "learners" themselves as well. Having a flexible schedule is also important--adding this role to another job or school situation that allows hosting events for residents (mostly students) at varying times throughout a week or month is best. (Jobs that are Monday-Friday, 9 to 5, are not usually a good "fit" with this role.) Great Res Life Coordinators must be self-starters, independent, and trust-worthy as there is much responsibility and autonomy in this position!

A monthly events budget is provided for each site and a monthly ministry budget is provided for each Coordinator--to pay for coffees or lunches out, Bible study materials (and snacks), and special ministry needs.

Apartments provided for Coordinators vary by location, but would be at minimum a 1-bedroom/1 bath, and all apartment communities are pet-friendly. Singles or couples may apply! (Or one spouse of a married couple.)

While not actually a #justchurchjob(!), this unique position can be a great complement to another church or ministry role, or done alongside school or a secular part-time (or full-time) job. It provides your housing and an opportunity to live out your faith--a chance to practice what Jesus preached!

5. Englewood CO (multi-family apartment--not student-focused).
