Mount Pisgah Liberty Campus Worship Coordinator (Part-Time)

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Campus Worship Coordinator for our new Liberty, South Carolina campus. This 20-hour-per-week role will provide hands-on leadership for the Music Ministry, work directly with the Worship Pastor on service planning and volunteer scheduling, and help cultivate a Christ-centered culture of worship at Mount Pisgah Liberty.

Position Summary

The Campus Worship Coordinator will lead and develop worship teams for the Liberty campus, help plan weekly services in coordination with the Worship Pastor, and oversee the scheduling and communication of music ministry volunteers. This role requires both musical leadership and strong organizational ability, with a clear passion for worship as a lifestyle and a genuine heart for the local church.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Music Ministry for the Liberty campus.
• Work directly with the Worship Pastor on weekly service planning and preparation.
• Schedule and communicate with worship ministry volunteers, including musicians and vocalists.
• Recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteer team members.
• Lead rehearsals and assist in preparing all music-related elements for services.
• Help foster a healthy team culture marked by spiritual maturity, unity, and excellence.
• Support special services, events, and other campus worship needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear heart for the Church.
• A passion for worship that is evident both on and off the platform.
• Ability to lead teams, especially within Music Ministry.
• Experience leading worship and working with volunteer musicians and singers.
• Strong communication, planning, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively under the leadership of the Worship Pastor.
• Familiarity with worship planning tools such as Planning Center is helpful.

Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging 15-20 hours per week and will include Sunday responsibilities, rehearsal time, service planning, volunteer coordination, and administrative preparation.
