Crossroads Community Church is a growing, Gospel-centered church located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We are passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in discipleship, build authentic community, and live on mission.

At Crossroads, we believe ministry is not built on personality, hype, or performance — it is built on prayer, truth, discipleship, and faithful obedience to Christ.

Our desire is to love Jesus deeply, teach the Bible faithfully, serve people authentically, and reach our city missionally. We are committed to creating environments where students and families can experience the presence of God, discover biblical truth, and become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

We do not view students as “the church of tomorrow,” but as a vital part of the church today.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Crossroads Community Church is prayerfully seeking a Christ-centered, Spirit-led Youth Pastor who carries a genuine love for students and families and sees ministry not as a stepping stone, but as a calling of obedience to Jesus Christ.

We are not searching for someone who claims to have every answer or every skill mastered. We are looking for someone with the right heart — someone teachable, humble, hungry to grow, willing to serve, and deeply committed to pointing the next generation toward Jesus.

This role is for a shepherd who desires to disciple students in God’s Word, partner with parents, build meaningful relationships, and cultivate a culture where young people can encounter Jesus in authentic and life-changing ways.

This is a full-time ministry opportunity to help shape and grow a vibrant youth and family ministry within a healthy, Gospel-centered church community.

• Is relational, approachable, and emotionally healthy
• Works well within a team and values unity
• Has a mission-minded heart for reaching students and families
• Desires to partner with parents spiritually
• Leads with integrity both publicly and privately

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spiritual Leadership

• Teach biblically sound and Christ-centered messages
• Disciple students in their walk with Jesus
• Create environments for worship, prayer, and spiritual growth
• Develop a culture rooted in Scripture and authentic faith

Relationship Building

• Build genuine relationships with students and families
• Foster a welcoming and safe ministry environment
• Partner with parents as spiritual allies and encouragers

Ministry Development

• Lead weekly youth gatherings and Bible studies
• Plan camps, retreats, outreach events, and discipleship opportunities
• Help students discover and use their God-given gifts

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers
• Build a healthy leadership culture marked by humility and unity
• Communicate clearly with leadership, students, and families

Outreach & Mission

• Reach students both inside and outside the church
• Encourage evangelism and invitation culture among students
• Help students become active participants in the mission of God

QUALIFICATIONS

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
• A life that reflects biblical character and spiritual maturity
• Experience in youth ministry preferred
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Agreement with the mission and values of Crossroads Community Church
• Willingness to relocate if needed
