Central Christian Church (CCC) is a Bible-centered, non-denominational Christian church located in Brownsville, Texas. Founded in 1910, CCC has a long history of faithful ministry in the Rio Grande Valley. We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, fostering spiritual growth, emphasizing missions, and cultivating a strong sense of community and service.

CCC is home to both an English-speaking and a Spanish-speaking congregation, each served by dedicated pastoral leadership. Periodically, the church gathers for unity services, where both congregations worship together as one body, reflecting our commitment to unity in Christ.

Weekly attendance for the English service typically ranges from 125-175, with higher attendance during holidays and unity services. The church has experienced steady growth in recent years and owns adjacent land for future expansion, which is currently under prayerful discernment.

Position Overview

The Preacher/Pastor will serve as a shepherd, teacher, and elder, providing biblical preaching, teaching, and pastoral care while working collaboratively with fellow elders, staff, and the congregation. This role emphasizes faithful proclamation of Scripture, relational ministry, and active participation in the life of the church.

The primary focus of this role is the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture, with other pastoral responsibilities carried collaboratively alongside the elders.
