Harvest Christian School (HCS) is a private Christian school dedicated to providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent education. We serve students from 6 weeks through 8th grade, preparing them to excel academically and grow spiritually.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our K–5 team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, faith-filled classroom environment where students thrive both academically and spiritually.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with academic standards
• Integrate biblical principles into daily instruction
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary and thematic units
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
• State teaching certification (preferred)
• Experience teaching elementary students (preferred)
• Strong commitment to Christian education and biblical integration
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Pastor Houpe’s desire is that children come to Christ at an early age, to the life of faith and power. He believes in ministering to the whole child – spirit, soul and body. His vision is to see children educated in a Christian environment with a strong emphasis in academic excellence. After much prayer and instruction from the Lord, Pastor Houpe was led to start Harvest Christian Schools (HCS) in 1990, now Harvest Christian Schools where Mrs. Donna Houpe is the Educational Administrator. Faith Academy educates students from as young as 6 weeks old. Children receive excellent instruction combined with the Word of God. The educational emphasis is placed on the Abeka and Bob Jones Curriculum, which prepares the students for future leadership.
