Pastor of Disciple-Making and Care

The Pastor of Disciple-Making and Care leads the church’s discipleship, small groups, missions,

and pastoral care ministries to help people live restored through the gospel to be and to

multiply disciples of Jesus. He equips leaders, teaches the Scriptures, mobilizes believers for

mission, and fosters biblical community through meaningful discipleship and care. He provides

pastoral counseling and shepherding, coordinates care with staff and deacons, and leads the

church’s discipleship pathways and small group life.

Calvary Baptist Church has a rich history in Southeast Texas and a far-reaching gospel ministry and impact worldwide. For more than 124 years, Calvary has been a church of people redeemed by the gospel of Jesus to fulfill God's mission.

Currently, Calvary is one church with two campuses (Beaumont and Lumberton). Our mission is to see image bearers restored through the gospel to be and multiply disciples of Jesus.
