Director of Family & Youth Ministries

Community Bible Church is in a season of intentional growth and we’re seeking a gifted, gospel-centered leader to shape a dynamic Family & Youth Ministry that reaches our neighborhood and roots new believers.

• After welcoming a new pastor in July 2025, our church has experienced steady growth—many new members are young families.
• Over 30% of our Sunday attendance are children, supported by a dedicated volunteer team ready to invest in kids and teens.

The opportunity

As Director of Family & Youth Ministries you will steward momentum into long-term spiritual growth. This full-time role leads ministry strategy, equips parents and volunteers, and creates meaningful worship, discipleship, outreach, and community opportunities for children, youth, and families.

Key responsibilities

• Family & Parent Discipleship: Design and implement practical pathways for parents to nurture spiritual growth at home.
• Youth Discipleship & Engagement: Develop age-appropriate discipleship, worship, service, and evangelism experiences that engage teens.
• Volunteer Development: Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers; build teams that model faith and care.
• Programming & Events: Plan and lead family-focused events, retreats, mission opportunities, and seasonal programming that connect church and community.
• Team Leadership: Cast vision, collaborate with staff, and foster a unified approach across children’s and youth ministries.

Who you are

• A Christ-centered leader with a clear passion for young people and families.
• A strong communicator and organizer who can inspire volunteers and mobilize parents.
• Someone whose life and character align with biblical qualifications for church leadership.
• Experience in children, youth, or family ministry preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Compensation

• Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 (full-time)

Currently, we are in a season of reevaluating our vision, mission, and By-Laws to position us for another 60 years of ministry in northern Niagara County.
