Senior Pastor

Fellowship Bible Church in Greenville, TX, is a 60-year-old evangelical, non-denominational fellowship of believers with a passion to continue our mission: to know the Lord Jesus Christ and to make Him known. We are a Bible-teaching church that values personal evangelism and discipleship.

We are seeking a full-time pastor to lead our congregation. The ideal candidate will be a family man who is willing to live in the Greenville area and encourage the spiritual growth of the church by contributing in, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Spiritual

· A life and prior ministry that demonstrate the qualifications set forth in Scripture (1 Tim. 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9)

· Preach regular services and administer ordinances in accordance with biblical doctrine as defined in our Doctrinal Statement

· Provide pastoral care to the body as well as the community with Christ-like love

· Provide pastoral oversight of the church’s spiritual life (Ephesians 4:11–16)

· Lead and support personal evangelism within the community (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15)

· Encourage and help lead ministry outreach opportunities as the Lord leads

· Ability to provide sound biblical counsel, discipleship, and conflict resolution

Professional

· 3+ years of church ministry or comparable experience, with a focus on leadership

· Ability to work cooperatively with Elders, Trustees, and Deacons

· Proven ability to communicate effectively in both spiritual and professional settings

· Willingness to participate in administrative tasks as defined in our Bylaws, such as leading meetings

Educational

· Seminary training; degree preferred

· Bible college training will be considered
