Senior Pastor

Calvary Community Church, an independent, conservative evangelical church in Longview, Washington, is prayerfully seeking its next Senior Pastor.

For nearly ninety years, Calvary has been committed to the authority of Scripture, biblical preaching and teaching, discipleship, prayer, children and family ministry, missions, and caring relationships. We are a multigenerational congregation with established ministries, committed lay leaders, and a desire to faithfully build upon this heritage while strengthening our ministry to our community and future generations.

We are seeking a spiritually mature, biblically grounded pastor who will serve as preacher, teacher, shepherd, leader, and equipper. Our next Senior Pastor should demonstrate a shepherd's heart, a life of prayer and personal integrity, and a commitment to faithful expositional preaching that communicates the truth of Scripture with theological substance, clarity, and practical application.

The Senior Pastor will provide spiritual and pastoral leadership while working collaboratively with Calvary's Elders, Church Council, staff, ministry leaders, and congregation. We seek a humble servant-leader who can help the church develop and pursue a clear biblical direction; strengthen discipleship; equip and develop leaders; foster healthy communication and ministry coordination; and encourage evangelism and meaningful engagement with our community.

Calvary does not expect the Senior Pastor to carry the ministry of the church alone. We seek a pastor who embraces the biblical responsibility to equip the saints for the work of ministry and who will develop, empower, and work alongside capable leaders throughout the congregation.

Total Compensation Package: $95,000-$120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
