Role Overview

The Online Bible Study Facilitator leads and supports student-centered Bible study sessions in a respectful, engaging, and inclusive online environment. This role focuses on guiding discussion, encouraging participation, and fostering spiritual growth among students.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduled online Bible study sessions
• Prepare or follow selected Bible passages and discussion topics
• Encourage open, respectful, and thoughtful discussion
• Create a welcoming and safe space for all participants
• Support students’ spiritual growth and understanding of Scripture
• Uphold school guidelines and community standards during sessions
• Communicate session times and expectations clearly with participants

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Christian faith and Bible study
• Comfortable leading or guiding group discussions
• Reliable, respectful, and responsible
• Good communication skills
• Experience in peer leadership or faith-based groups (preferred, not required)

Time Commitment

• 1–2 sessions per week, 60 minutes each

• Fully online / virtual
