Reports to: Campus Pastor, Erich Grunder

Works closely with: Campus Pastor, EDH Staff, Ministry Coordinators, Graphics and Web depts 

Department: Administration

Weekly Hours: Part -Time 25 hrs.

Wage: $18.00/ hr.

Purpose of Position:

• El Dorado Hills Director of Communications is a dedicated and dynamic individual who is passionate about building meaningful 

connections within the church community through strategic and heartfelt communication.

• A self-starter, driven individual who will use their skills and abilities to support the ministry of NCC

EDH by providing physical and digital communications to those already at NCC and those looking

to get connected.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Communication & Leadership:

• Leverage our physical and digital platforms to deliver clear, timely communication.
• Email and App Communications: Develop and distribute content to the congregation through email and church app platforms.
• Social media: Manage and develop the media team to capture and post content on Instagram and Facebook.
• Web Registrations: Set up and manage web registrations for select events
• Digital and physical communication: Collaborate with the graphics team at North Coast Vista to secure necessary graphics for digital and physical communication. 
• Website Communications: Work with the web team to ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Develop and onboard volunteers when needed. 

Calendar & Planning

• Annual, monthly, and weekly calendar management. 
• Staff Meeting Notes

 Extra Duties

• Help with special events

Personal:

·        Staff members must have a healthy relationship with Jesus, and a commitment to North Coast Church vision and values.

Professional:

• Effective Communication: Skilled in empathetic and efficient communication, addressing the diverse needs of both the congregation and community.
• Excellent writing skills, a creative eye, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and basic video editing software.
•  

Ministry Goals:

• Provide essential organizational and communication support for the Campus Pastor, Project Coordinator, and select ministry Leads.

North Coast Church El Dorado Hills is located in the heart of the El Dorado Hills community. Join us each Sunday morning for incredible worship and great teaching live-streamed from the Vista Campus. You will find children and youth programs for infants through middle school on Sunday mornings, mid-week Student Ministries for Middle School and High School students, and a staff dedicated to serving this campus.
