Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, passionate Christ-follower to lead our Children's Ministry forward in reaching this generation for Christ. The Children's Pastor is a vital spiritual leader responsible for nurturing the faith development of children within the church community. This role involves designing and implementing engaging biblical programs, providing mentorship, and fostering a safe, welcoming environment for children to learn about Christian values. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate heart dedicated to guiding young minds in their spiritual journey.

Duties

• Develop and oversee age-appropriate children's ministry programs, including Sunday Kids Church, Mid-Week Kids Club, Vacation Bible School, and special events.
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to children and their families..
• Lead teaching sessions with enthusiasm, utilizing effective presentation skills and public speaking abilities to engage young audiences.
• Coordinate volunteer teams, including training and mentoring new leaders to ensure consistent program delivery.
• Plan and execute church events tailored for children that promote community involvement and spiritual growth.
• Manage crisis intervention situations with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
• Collaborate with parents and church staff to address individual needs, including conflict management and crisis management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of children's participation and progress within the ministry programs.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective teaching and mentoring.
• Experience in ministry, presentation skills, and event planning is welcome.
• Ability to handle conflict management and crisis situations with professionalism.
• Skilled in mentoring youth leaders and managing volunteer teams effectively.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with strong organizational skills for event planning and program management.
