Faith-based Executive Director – Frederick, MD

Nonprofit – Salary range $150k - $170k

Frederick Rescue Mission is seeking a new Executive as their current Executive Director retires after more than two decades of organizational growth and success, which you can build upon.

What this job entails:

·      Lead the Frederick Rescue Mission which is a high-performing community nonprofit with a dedicated and supportive staff and Board of Directors

·      Oversee significant operations which include staff, numerous programs and locations, multiple buildings/facilities

·      Oversee programs that serve the most vulnerable members of our population including the hungry, the poor, the homeless, the addicted, and abused

·      Build strong collaborative relationships with community leaders, faith leaders, donors, and other nonprofit leaders in the community

·      Be willing to fundraise for FRM and be open to asking for significant financial gifts from community donors

·      Use your strong business skills to oversee finances and daily operations, motivate and lead staff, develop strategic plans to grow the organization

·      Be Christ-centered, business competent, and mission driven to serve those in need

What strongest candidates will have:

·      Five to ten years in an executive leadership role

·      Four-year degree or higher education level (preferred)

·      Be an authentic Christian

·      Have experience leading a similar-sized 501c3 nonprofit organization

What this job will offer you:
