Overview
Our vision is to be disciple-making followers of Jesus. We are looking to find the right leader to make the connection between worship and discipleship, and can lead us to embrace worship not just through music but also as a lifestyle.
Expectations
● Be a person who values people. Not necessarily an extrovert, but someone who understands how critical it is to spend time with people. This person needs to enjoy being with others.
● Understand the importance of investing in people for who they are and not simply for what they can do. People come before tasks.
● Be a self-starter and initiative taker that is able to start new things and follow hem through. Not adverse to taking risks or big steps.
● Recruiter to the cause. You are passionate about and consumed by the mission and inviting others to join.
● Keep “short accounts” when dealing with conflict resolution. Whether that is with the leadership team, worship team members, or volunteers.
● Have a presence during the weekend services, connecting and engaging with the church body.
Responsibilities
● Lead the congregation toward authentic worship, first by modeling it and then by teaching it
● Leads the worship team which includes all vocalists and musicians.
● Meets weekly with the pastor for planning weekend services
● Plans, schedules, leads, and coordinates the operation of the weekly worship services.
● Spend time face to face with team members. Also communicate by text and phone.
● Oversee the recruiting, scheduling, and development of instrumentalists and vocalists.
● Performs other tasks, as time permits, requested by the pastor.
● Invest in disciple making.

That is the last command Jesus gave, and so we as a church are sold out to His command. We define a disciple as someone who is following Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and helping others do the same.
