Worship Leader/Coordinator

Revelation Truth Center (RTC), a vibrant ministry in west Charlotte, is seeking to expand its reach to the greater Charlotte community. RTC exists to bring hope, healing, and restoration through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. JOB DESCRIPTION: Worship Leader/Coordinator

RTC is seeking an individual to serve as the church’s worship leader/coordinator. This position is ideal for someone who believes God has called them to lead in this capacity but maybe has never had that opportunity. This position is also ideal for someone who has extensive experience leading and coordinating worship and wants to invest in the growth of a worship ministry. The primary responsibility of the worship leader/coordinator will be to collaborate with existing worship team members to plan and execute the church’s Sunday worship experience. 

The ideal candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, strong vocal and musical instrument playing abilities (guitar or keyboard), possess an adaptable skillset and a relational leadership style, and have an understanding of and ability to flow in prophetic worship.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continue to grow and mature in Christ as a godly person of integrity. Demonstrate leadership in being able to disciple those in his/her sphere of influence. 

• Collaborate with existing worship team members to plan our weekly Sunday 10:30 am worship service. Select songs that usher in the Presence of God. 

• Model and lead heartfelt worship in an invitational style, drawing people in, encouraging participation, and pointing people to Jesus. 

• Lead weekly rehearsals (1 hour, 1 day per week) that serve a dual purpose: (A) preparation for Sunday and (B) cultivation of Christ-centered community. Provide worship team members with songs in advance.

• Contribute innovative ideas for growing the worship ministry.

• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills if conflicts arise.

• Report to the Music Director & Pastor.
