Senior Pastor

Full Time (Salary Negotiable)

Location: West Jefferson, Ohio

First Baptist Church of West Jefferson, Ohio is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor called by God to be a Southern Baptist Pastor in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

We seek a pastor possessing strong leadership skills to grow with us as we renew our passion to revitalize the church, strengthen the body of believers, and reach the lost in our community, s we seek to be what God desires us to become.

Our church is in a community near Columbus, Ohio but retaining its small-town feel. We are traditionally conservative church currently having an average of 65-80 in attendance for Sunday morning worship. About half of our members participate in Sunday School preceding Sunday morning worship. We have mid-week Pastor led Bible study and prayer meeting.

Requirements

Adherence to Baptist Faith and Message 2000 Minimum five years Pastoral experience Degree (or in process of obtaining) from a Seminary Lifestyle in keeping with 1 Timothy 3:1-7

Additional Information and Preferences

Currently married with a supportive spouse also active in the congregation
