At South Sub Church, we are a welcoming, multi-denominational church of about 300 people

gathering weekly in Littleton, Colorado, with 25–30 kids from birth through 6th grade. We are in

a focused season of growing with families and young children — and we see tremendous

opportunity ahead. This is not a maintenance role; it is a chance to build, shape, and lead a

thriving Kids Ministry from a strong foundation into its next chapter. With a supportive staff, an

engaged congregation, and a clear mission — to bring people to Jesus Christ and together

become passionate followers of Him — we are prayerfully investing in the next generation. If

Spiritual and Ministry Leadership

• Lead children to know, trust, and follow Jesus through clear, biblical, age-appropriate teaching.
• Create welcoming, grace-filled environments where every child feels known, safe, and included.
• Pray regularly for children, families, and volunteers.
• Align the Kids Ministry with South Sub Church’s discipleship pathway and overall vision.

Program Oversight

• Plan and oversee weekly Kids Ministry programs (birth - 6th grade) ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Evaluate and select curriculum that aligns with Scripture, South Sub Church’s theology, and developmental stages.
• Plan and lead special events, holiday programs, and seasonal experiences.
• Ensure child safety, check-in systems, and classroom flow meet church standards.

Volunteer Development

• Recruit, train, schedule, and care for Kids Ministry volunteers.
• Ensure all volunteers are screened and trained according to church child protection policies.
• Mentor leaders through encouragement, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Build a volunteer culture that is healthy, joyful, and sustainable.

Operations and Stewardship

• Manage the Kids Ministry budget responsibly and transparently.
• Order supplies and coordinate materials needed for weekly and special programming.
• Partner with staff and ministry leaders to align calendars, communication, and systems.
• Communicate clearly with parents regarding vision, policies, and upcoming events.

Qualifications Character and Calling

• Evident love for Jesus and a clear calling to Kids Ministry.
• Alignment with South Sub Church’s mission, values, and philosophy of ministry.
• A servant leader who is teachable, responsible, and team-oriented.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent ministry experience considered).
• Experience leading Kids Ministry or related environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, lead, and multiply volunteers.
• Comfortable with basic technology and planning tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with wisdom.

Salary: 55K - 65K Depending on Education and Experience
