Worship Band Member

Our mission in like all the other bands: to glorify God and lead others into authentic worship and spiritual growth through music, prayer, and scripture, ultimately seeking to create a space for divine presence and life transformation within a faith community.

ROLE

As part of a team of Neighborhood Anthem congregations in corporate worship as a vocalist or instrumentalist. Create an environment free of distractions where people can connect with God.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Model worship for the congregation through your attitudes and actions.
• Strive to play your instrument to your greatest potential with excellence as unto the Lord.
• Attend scheduled rehearsals, services, and ministry events punctually.
• Dress in a modest manner that reflects your role in this ministry.
• Be responsible for your own instrument and sheet music, keeping your area neat and in order. Strive to set an example, both onstage and off, of godly behavior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active participant in a Connection Group
• Participate in an audition for team Must demonstrate competence instrumentally and/or vocally Must be a team player and willing to receive feedback
• Be available for Practice. Additional events may require other time commitments

Overview

We are seeking passionate and talented individuals to join our musical ensemble as Band Members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform in a dynamic environment, contribute to live events, and develop your musical skills. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in music and performance, with a particular emphasis on theater and stage presence. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with other musicians and performers to create memorable experiences for audiences of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform live music at various events, including theater productions, concerts, and community gatherings
• Collaborate with fellow band members and event coordinators to ensure seamless performances
• Rehearse regularly to maintain high-quality sound and stage presence
• Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment before and after performances
• Engage with audiences to enhance the overall entertainment experience
• Maintain instruments and equipment in good condition
• Contribute creatively to arrangements and performance styles as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong interest in playing musical instruments or singing within a band setting
• Knowledge of theater production and stage performance is highly desirable
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a lively, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Flexibility to perform during evenings, weekends, or special events as scheduled
• Commitment to punctuality and reliability during rehearsals and performances
• Previous experience in theater or live performance environments is a plus
