Living Hope Fellowship is prayerfully seeking the man God has called to shepherd our congregation through faithful preaching of God’s Word and Christ-centered leadership for future generations.
Pastoral Responsibilities
• Preach and teach the Word of God through faithful expository preaching of Scripture
• Clearly present the Gospel and extend an invitation for salvation
• Shepherd the congregation with compassion, humility, and integrity
• Lead the church in evangelism and discipleship
• Work in unity with church leadership and deacons according to Baptist polity
• Provide pastoral care through visitation, prayer, and encouragement
Qualifications
• Meets the biblical qualifications for a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9
• Full agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
• Affirm the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture
• Demonstrates a clear calling and passion for pastoral ministry
• A heart for all generations and building up the body of Christ
• Evangelical Southern Baptist background preferred
• Willing to cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Program
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Theology, Christian Studies, Ministry, or Pastoral Studies
