Campus Pastor Ministry Description and Job Responsibilities

1) Be the spiritual leader of the campus - Oversee paid and volunteer staff at campus

~ Continually develop your own walk with God

~ Move people to next steps through contextualizing and communicating the vision (RPI)

~ Preach 2 to 3 times per month (Officiate weddings and funerals as needed)

~ Lead and oversee the execution of weekend services

~ Lead discipleship process (Christian Growth Classes)

~ Ensure good system of care is in place

2) Lead and develop teams for the ministry systems at campus - Oversee paid and volunteer staff at campus

~ Worship, Small Groups, First Responders (greeters, ushers, welcome center), Café, Follow-up, etc.

~ Student and Children’s Ministry

~ Adult Outreach (RMI) etc.

3) Assist in “BIG PICTURE” direction for FC NM

~ Oversee staff and ministry for every function at the church

~ Manage and execute budget for campus

~ Be a continual learner and bring new ideas and innovation to FC NM and FC staff

~ Find personal outreach and evangelism strategy for campus example and personal growth

4) Be present in the community

~ Spend time in the community informally – get to know people

~ Find community organizations to partner with and bring influence in positive ways

~ Represent FC NM at STCCC meetings

5) Work together with staff

~ It is our desire that the FC vision, mission and strategy runs deep in every area of the church and in every campus. To accomplish great things, the entire staff must work as a team. There will be regular meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings with Lead Pastor.

~ Represent campus at monthly Ministry Council meetings
